Royce's actual birthday was April 27th, but because Double Decker was the next day, we decided to celebrate of Cinco De Mayo. We threw him his first fiesta and had a blast! Royce's Easter baptism took place in Water Valley MS at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity this past Saturday evening. We celebrated after with a family dinner in our home. We had 3 different tablescapes for our many guests. Our the dinning room table was the dressiest and I got to pull out all my beautiful and prized wedding gifts. Royce is 10 months old and it makes my heart ache but I love seeing him grow and change! He notices more things now and examines the smallest details. I can really see him thinking! He's really starting to talk, using two syllable sounds. "Mama" is still his favorite word. All I hear is "She's so beautiful" and I happily and proudly respond, "Yes, he is!"
