MINI SIZE: The total price of one 5x7" portrait is $295. These are 5x7" toned Canson Me-Teintes Touch paper portraits, hand-drawn in hard and soft, chalk pastels by Britton. They are sized for a standard frame, so no custom framing is necessary. I work from one photo reference. Can combine or pull colors from other photos but will reference the pose from just one.Please indicate the Due Date when emailing the reference photo, but please know I'm on a first come, first serve basis. I have slots that will be filled, but I will try to make some magic happen.
I record my entire pastel process. This is something artists in the past could never easily offer. You'll be able to see your portrait come to life! All stages of the portrait will be shared with the buyer and my Instagram followers (unless specified). This way, there are no surprises with the final product. Framing Tips
Please remember when framing, pastels must have a mat. Look for the standard frame with a 11x14” opening when looking at store-bought options, or your custom framer will understand the procedure for pastels and give you mat options. The mat will provide a void that will protect the delicate pastels from the glass. Glass protects the artwork from environmental influences such as dust, dirt, moisture, fading, and UV damage. Pastels can be disturbed or even blown off so it is highly recommended to frame your pastel portrait, but don’t forget to include the mat as well.
